Ovi firma contrato con Universal Music Latino
El artista cubano de trap Ovi ha firmado un acuerdo exclusivo con Universal Music Latino, marcando el inicio de un nuevo capítulo en su carrera musical.
Reconocido como una figura clave en el Latin trap y los corridos tumbados, OVI fue pionero de un estilo híbrido, formando parte de la primera ola de artistas que contribuyeron a la expansión del género más allá de las audiencias regionales. Tras salir de Cuba y establecerse en Estados Unidos, desarrolló un sonido que fusiona sus raíces cubanas con influencias del regional mexicano.
OVI también desempeñó un papel fundamental junto a Natanael Cano y Junior H en el icónico trío ‘Las 3 Torres’, una colaboración considerada un hito temprano en la evolución de los corridos tumbados dentro del panorama más amplio de la música latina.
Su catálogo ha acumulado más de dos mil millones de reproducciones en plataformas, y ha colaborado con artistas como Myke Towers, Arcángel, Eladio Carrión, Brytiago y Adriel Favela, lo que resalta su presencia tanto en el mercado urbano latino como en el regional mexicano.
